Soufeel Jewelry: A Review

As you all know from past posts, I absolutely love jewelry. From my partnerships with Rocksbox and Boho Tribe Collection, to my beautiful collaboration with Ritani, I think it is safe to say I am all about things that sparkle. However, for those of you that has been reading my musings for sometime now (I'm talking clear back to the "Wish-list Wednesday" days.) I'm sure you can recall that my jewelry box was lacking in one department, and that was in bracelets. Sure, I have a few trusty cuffs that I can wear to more elaborate occasions, but I honestly did not have many, well really any, bracelets that I could wear for everyday life. That was up until now, at least, after John and I had the wonderful opportunity to collaborate with my newest sponsor Soufeel!

Soufeel Jewelry

For those of you who have not heard of the online jewelry retailer, Soufeel, I'm just going to take a moment to tell you a little about the company and their products. To start off, Soufeel is a jewelry store that specializes in sterling silver jewelry ranging in products from necklaces, earrings, and bangles, but what Soufeel is most recognized for is their absolutely gorgeous charm bracelets. As i am sure many of you have noticed, Soufeel's bracelets look quite similar to the ever popular (but pricey) brand, Pandora, but that's what makes Soufeel so great is that you are getting the same quality jewelry (925 sterling silver) for about 2/3 of the cost, along with a year long, money back guarantee, warranty! And though Soufeel's bracelets are not exactly the same as Pandora's, they definitely hold their own against the jewelry giant, and in my opinion, their products are every bit as dazzling.

Oh So Charming

As I mentioned earlier, I received the gorgeous charm bracelet above complimentary from Soufeel, however I also mentioned that John actually designed it. I'm sure many of you are wondering how we pulled that off, and simply put, we were able to because the Soufeel rep I have been working with, Walker, was kind enough to let me pass along the budget ($150) to John, so he could make me this gorgeous piece! And I have to say John did a fabulous job of capturing the little things that have to do with our relationship, and I can't wait to to add charms to this bracelet in the years to come. (And perhaps even adding an additional bracelet!)

Needless to say, aside from John being a good sport and helping me design this pretty piece, (Which worked out that it was just in time for my birthday that is coming up in a few days, pretty nifty timing right?) I am overjoyed with the quality and craftsmanship of Soufeel's jewelry. To kick off this review, I wanted to first talk about the bracelet itself. The first thing I want to say about the bracelet is, is that the latch is very sturdy--so sturdy that at first I wasn't quite sure how to unlatch it due to the fact I never owned a charm bracelet before! However, once I got used to its design (which is admittedly tricky at first) I now can take it on and off with ease as well as not having to worry about it coming unhooked and my charms falling everywhere! The other thing I loved about this bracelet, is its rose gold latch. Though I would have been happy with a plain silver one, I just feel that the rose gold adds a nice contrast to the bracelet over all.

Like I said earlier, I personally feel that Soufeel's jewelry is very comparable to Pandora's (and for my readers who already have Pandora sets or beads, the Soufeel charms and bracelets are compatible with Pandora too!), but for a fraction of the cost, so basically with Soufeel, you are getting more bang for your buck! But, I know many people feel things like this are too good to be true, and just to show that in this case it is not, I just wanted to show you that each of Soufeel's charms (as well as their other jewelry) are 100% sterling silver, and are each stamped with Soufeel's logo along with the sterling silver seal "S 925".

Wooh! Now that I've gotten all of the formal information out of the way, I'm sure you want to see the charms that John picked out for my bracelet!

The first charm on my bracelet, is this adorable little "heartbeat charm". The reason why I love this charm is due to its subtle detailing and its quaint design. I also love the color of this charm, due to its monochromatic reds, which gives the charm a nice contrast.

Next is this "locked heart charm". The first thing that I noticed about this sweet little charm is its excellent craftsmanship. As you can see, though this charm is dainty, it is incredibly detailed and crafted with outstanding precision.

My next bead is this "red lantern charm". The reason I love this charm is because it adds a whimsical flare to my bracelet, and it also reminds me not to sweat the small stuff, and as my long time readers know, John is forever my voice of reason when it comes to panicking over minute things.

Next, is this adorable "vintage camera charm". As I'm sure many of you know from my "portfolio" section on here, not only am I a writer, but I am also a photographer, and that is something that John loves about me. So, it only seemed natural to add this bead to the bunch! This is the bead that I was actually the most pleased with, and that is because of this design's attention to detail. I loved that this charm included all the little knobs found on a film camera (shutter, aperture, the release button, even the film winder!), and that is important to me because photography was after all my first love within the arts.

Last but not least, is this "infinite love bead". Though this bead isn't as showy as the others, it holds a special place in my heart because it reminds me that even though the distance between John and I is testing at times, eventually it will all work out, and we will always have each other. The reason I liked this simple bead, is due to its light and feminine details, and rich ruby red color.

Final Thoughts

After my rave review, I'm sure many of you have already figured out that I will most definitely recommend doing business with Soufeel! I felt that the rep I spoke with, Walker, Was highly professional and easy to talk too, and obviously, I feel that my product is outstanding.

Have you ever shopped with Soufeel and love their jewelry as much as I do? Let's chat about it in the comments below, or you can tweet me at @StarkRavingChic! International Women's Day: Working Girl Style (Feat. SheIn)

With my blog rapidly approaching the two year mark, I feel that it is only natural for me to start covering some bigger topics on here. Of course that doesn't mean discarding style and beauty posts all together, but simply combining them with some more serious current events. And in my first step towards this, I have decided to partner with my long time sponsor, SheIn, and put together this style post/style guide comprised of some of my favorite office outfits I have received from SheIn for past sponsored posts, in light of International Women's Day.

What is International Women's Day?

Though I am sure many of you already know what International Women's Day is (the only way I figure you do not is if you happen to live under a rock, and I say this because it has been all over the news lately), I'm just going to take a minute to highlight what this day is all about. You see, International Women's Day first started back in 1909, and was originally called International Working Women's Day, and now takes place on March 8th every year. More over, the reason this holiday started was to commemorate the struggle for women's rights, and to remind all of us how important women truly are to society.

And as I mentioned earlier, this year International Women's Day has been all over the news (well, at least here in the United States, I can't speak for other countries) due to many of the negative feelings towards our reality TV boss and his chosen cast--erm-- presidential cabinet members, leading many of us ladies to exercise our right to peacefully protest in today's cause which has been dubbed "A Day Without a Woman". Though I won't post my personal political views here, I feel it is pretty clear in my earlier statement, I can say that I will, unfortunately, not be at the protest in downtown Pittsburgh, nor will I be at work in my office today for that matter. And in case you're wondering, this is due to a surgery I had on my foot yesterday. (Don't worry I'm fine, I just can't walk for a few days and am no longer able to surf when I get to Florida for spring break Friday morning *sobs*.)

However, all of my negative political feelings aside, I chose to be positive and have partnered with SheIn for this special style post today. The reason this post is a bit different than my "style guides" is because not only does this post focus on attire for us ladies who work in the corporate world, but also because it is focusing on some of my personal favorite office looks that I have received from SheIn over the past two years. And to me, this post is serving as my own personal recognition of International Women's Day and to showcase how proud I am of my own femininity.

Boldly Business Savvy

Outfit Links: Earrings, Dress, Shoes

This pencil dress is by far one of my favorite spring pieces for work and play. Though this dress works great for the office, it also works great for after work happy hour due to its bold pattern and sleek shape, think of it as a classic piece with a modern twist. To style this dress, I simply pair it with my "Elle" earrings in cobalt by Kendra Scott, due to how they complement the blue of the dress along with some plain black pumps. Monday Meeting in Maroon

For this sweet office look, I chose a more traditional silhouette with this simple swing dress. However, though this dress has a simple design, it is actually quite fashionable due to its chic geometric, color blocking. To style this dress, I generally wear some pearl or opal earrings, a simple tassel drop necklace, a cuff bracelet, my black clutch from SheIn, and some simple black pumps. The reason these accessories work with this dress is due to the fact they add some extra shine without being over the top. (To read my original post about this outfit, click here.)

Polished Professional

This next outfit is one of my favorite summer looks. The reason why I adore this blouse and skirt combination is because it is just sweet, simple, and oh so feminine. This is actually one of my favorite outfits of all time simply because it makes me feel pretty and is totally classic. To style this look, I paired it with my Kendra Scott "Lauren" earrings, this Perry Street "Morgan" necklace, this adorable hand chain by Gorjana, along with some simple white sandals. I just love this look paired with these jewelry pieces because they are every bit as pretty and classic as this look. (To read my original post about this outfit, click here.)

Teachin' To The Choir

Though this entire outfit was not from SheIn, the velvet booties certainly are, and SheIn actually has many similar pieces for those of you who may want to shop this look! However, this look, is a great fall look due to it's fun color pairings. Though the sweater and skirt are neutral colors, I added some depth and color to this look by pairing it with these cobalt blue earrings, this Perry Street Necklace, and of course these burgundy velvet booties! The reason these pieces work together is because they each add a pop of color to this outfit as well as complement each other. (To read my original post about this outfit, click here.)

Bookstore's Best

This final look is actually on of my favorite versatile looks that I have posted about on here in the past two years. Though originally I simply showcased this dress on its own, I then updated the post with a second look, which is the one you see above. Though the dress by itself is not at all work appropriate, paired with this charcoal sweater, makes for a great work look, especially if your company partakes in casual Fridays like DSG! To style this layered look, I paired it with these Kendra Scott earrings, this arrow head cuff by Robyn Rhodes, topped off with this necklace by SLATE and some plain black flats. (To read my original post about this outfit, click here.)

And one last note before I sign off, I just want to remind everybody that though I just had surgery, I am still headed on vacation with John for spring break, so I will not be posting here until Monday, March 13th! So though I will be absent from tomorrow through Sunday (I know, weird right?) I promise I will be back bright and early Monday morning, so stay tuned. Later, babes!

Xx, Bree

#BLOGMAS: 12 Days of Christmas Wish-list

Firstly, to every one who commented and gave me feed back on last Friday's post thank you all so much! And just so everyone knows, due to the success of Friday's post, I will be officially retiring my monthly "Wish-list Wednesday" segment after this post and replacing it with monthly "Style Guide" posts. So now my wish-lists will strictly be reserved for around the holidays. However, since it is currently #BLOGMAS I had to squeeze in last wish-list, just to share what wishes I have that I am hoping are granted this year for my annual "Wishes Granted" post!

1. Hedgehog Mittens, SheIn

  • As I'm sure everyone here in the 'Burgh knows, it's about to get very cold outside! So what better way to keep warm than to have some adorable mittens?

2. Kendra Scott Bexley Earrings, Rocksbox

  • Firstly, the reason I love these earrings is due to their unique shape. I just really like the asymmetrical feel of them. With that being said, Alyssa, if you happen to be reading this I would love to find these in my next Rocksbox set!!

3. 10 Color Eye Shadow Pallet, Light In The Box

  • The reason I chose this eye shadow pallet is due to the fact I loved the colors in it as well as the shimmer it has. I mean this would be perfect for New Year's Eve makeup looks don't you think?

4. Makeup Sponge Set, SheIn

  • As some of you may remember, as of recently, due to my last VoxBox from Influenster, I've been trying to experiment for with makeup especially for upcoming posts next year. This being said, since I have a complete set of brushes, I figured why not step it up a bit and get a set of makeup sponges too!

5. Blue Ruffled Sleeve Dress, StyleWe

  • Again, we all know I'm trying to add cooler tones to my wardrobe. So needless to say when I saw this dress on my sponsor and affiliate, StyleWe's website it immediately made the list. This ruffled dress is so chic due to the cut of it's neckline and is appropriate for many occasions including work and play.

6. Navy Bikini, Light In The Box

  • Lately while travelling back and forth to Delray Beach to see my beau, I've really been digging the mesh swimsuit trend. Hence why this gorgeous navy mesh bikini made the cut.

7. Gold Brooch, SheIn

  • A trend I would love to try next year is really dressing up the collars of some of my more basic pieces such as plain  blouses. And what better way to do that than with pins and statement brooches?

8. Navy Patterned Cape, StyleWe

  • I'm sure many of you know, this is not the first time a cape has made my wish-list, however I just never seem to get around to buying them. But, hopefully this one will be featured in a future outfit of the day just because I love the style and pattern of it.

9. Faux Leather Pleated Skirt, Light In The Box

  • A trend I've been seeing all over websites such as Look Book and Instagram is metallic and/or leather pleated skirts. And I have to say, it is definitely a bandwagon I would like to be jumping on next year!

10. AV Max Gold Cuff, Rocksbox

  • One other thing I would like to see more of in my jewelry box this year is more large cuffs such as this one. I say this because I definitely have statement necklaces covered, so I'd really like some more statement bracelets too.

11. Two Piece Tribal Print Dress, SheIn

  • This is another trend I've been seeing a lot of down in the sunshine state: two piece dresses. I would just love to rock this piece while on a lunch or dinner date with John.

12. Pink Romper, StyleWe

  • The reason I chose this final piece is just because of how pretty and lively this feminine garment is, which would make it a perfect addition to my spring wardrobe.

So everyone, what are some things you're wishing for this holiday season? Tell me about it in the comments below of tweet me at @StarkRavingChic! Later dolls.
