#OOTD: Take a Walk on the Wild Side (Feat. SheIn)

There is nothing I love to do more than spend the day outdoors, and due to the gorgeous weather we had this past weekend here in the 'Burgh I got to do just that! So while taking advantage of the last of the nice weather, I decided to dress up in my newest outfit from my sponsor SheIn (you might recognize it from this Wish-list Wednesday post) and to head into Sewickley for some great local shopping as well as some delicious sushi from The Slippery Mermaid.

Button Up Buttercup

Before I dive into the details of my darling embroidered blouse, first I need to talk about this adorable button front skirt! If you've been reading my blog for a while you probably know that this season I have been obsessed with everything retro. From a-line skirts, flower child dresses, even Art Deco jewelry pieces, basically if it's inspired by a different era I've been experimenting with it. So since I haven't tackled any '70s inspired looks yet, I decided that the button front skirt was the way to go.

Though I hate to play favorites when it comes to fashion, I have to say my favorite trend from the '70s has to be the button front skirt. With that in mind, obviously as soon as I saw that this skirt was available as a blogger product through SheIn, I immediately contacted my rep Merry and asked if she could send this skirt to me ASAP.

The reason I love this skirt so much isn't just because of its adorable look, but also because of the material its made out of. Though it is faux suede, the material itself is very soft and looks great. The skirt also fits me perfectly and I can't wait to wear it again and possibly even style it with something else.

Speaking of styling, just as I predicted in my September Wish-list Wednesday post, this cute embroidered top went absolutely perfectly with this skirt! I just adore the embroidered giraffe on the pocket along with the leaf detailing on the collar. Though this whole outfit would not be office attire, this blouse also looks great with slacks and is a fun conversation starter at the office due to its whimsical nature.

Lastly, the finishing touches for this outfit were my stylish bronze sunnies along with my gorgeous snake skin clutch from SheIn, my new JORD watch (details coming thursday!) and my ever trusty speckled shoes which I thrifted from the Red, White, and Blue store.

#OOTD: Bold Brushstrokes (Feat. SheIn)

Well, we went from blustery to gorgeous weather at the drop of hat this weekend here in Pittsburgh. I can't help but wonder if this means we will be having another winter like last year where it was barely cold, or if this just means we are due for another snowmageddon. However, I'm not dwelling on it until it happens, so this weekend I enjoyed what I'm guessing was one of our last nice days this year and decided to style my newest dress from my sponsor SheIn!

Perfectly Painted

One classic look that has never grown old for me is the pencil dress. The reason this is, is because I love the bold silhouette of them. And no matter what color, length, or material they are, they show off my slender build as well as compliment the curves that I do have!

The other reason why I like this dress so much though, is because of the length of its sleeves. The reason the sleeve length is great is because it makes this piece easy to wear in both the fall and spring. It also makes this dress perfect for both the office and just going out with friends or a dinner date.

I also have to mention that the print on this dress is just lovely. I mean I think that speaks for itself, it's just so fun and bright what's not to love? And the fun pattern is quite the conversation piece around the office as well as if you're out for happy hour. (Let's be honest, it's always great to hear people exclaim "where did you get that?!" about any piece of clothing or accessory.)

Lastly, to style this piece, I honestly went a little low key on the accessories. Due to the bold and busy print on the dress itself, I didn't want to pair it with anything too extravagant, so I went with my deep blue Kendra Scott earrings, and some black simple pumps.

#OOTD: Pumpkins & Patterns (Feat. Rocksbox)

BUUUUUUUUUR! It got cold real quick here in the 'Burgh recently, or perhaps its just me after soaking up the sun in Delray Beach last weekend. However, I have to say I'm thankful for the cooler weather due to the fact it allows me to style two of my favorite things: Sweaters and booties! So this morning while I was out and about on my typical morning Americano run in Sewickely this morning, I was so happy that I got to wear my newest outfit from ModCloth as well as my new velvet booties from my sponsor SheIn. I was also stoked because these items paired absolutely perfectly with my most recent Rocksbox set!

Blues & Burgundy

Though I usually prefer warmer colors and pastels, recently I've been experimenting with cooler colors in my wardrobe. This being said, I've been trying to include more light greys, blues, and teals in my wardrobe this season. So needless to say I was absolutely thrilled when I saw my latest set from my sponsor Rocksbox included a gorgeous blue Perry Street necklace and some divine royal blue Kendra Scott earrings. As soon as I opened the box I just knew that they would look perfect with this outfit I had from ModCloth

So first thing I have to say about this sweater from ModCloth is that it's so soft and comfortable!  The moment I felt it's plush material at the IRL event I knew I was going to be ordering it. The other reason I liked this sweater is because it's such a nice and simple piece and even with its textured material, it can be styled with just about anything.

The reason I decided to pair this gorgeous Abby necklace by Perry Street with this sweater is because despite this sweater's textured appearance, the blues in this necklace just compliment the light grey color of this sweater so well. And of course, my Kendra Scott Elle earrings matched too perfectly for me not to style them in this look!

The last thing I have to mention about jewelry is I was absolutely thrilled that I finally received this SLATE Moonlight Daydream Cuff bracelet from Rocksbox! It's another item that was on my wish-list for sometime and that's just because I adore the delicate shape of it.

Next up, I decided to pair this lovely sweater with a cute and playful plaid skirt. Ever since I was little I've loved plaid patterns, perhaps this is because until my Junior year of high school I attend private school where the majority of our uniforms were plaid. However this skirt undoubtedly caught my eye while browsing ModCloth's site so needless to say it is now part of my wardrobe. This skirt is actually very heavy but that's a good thing due to the fact it kept me nice and warm during my chilly morning stroll.

Lastly I just want to talk about my adorable booties from my sponsor SheIn. Firstly, I was so excited to find velvet booties at a reasonable price this because they are huge trend this fall. Secondly, I just love the burgundy color of them. They are also very comfy and warm.
