#OOTD: Ready, Set, Flow! (Feat. My latest set from Rocksbox)
As I'm sure all of us Pittsburghers know, recently here in the 'Burgh we have once again had some unseasonably warm weather! Needless to say, I'm not complaining. But due to the gorgeous weather, I took the opportunity to work on a photo shoot for one of the articles I had the honor of writing for the magazine Moda Chic's spring edition! (More on that coming as soon as the magazine is live, but you can check out their winter edition here.) And during this awesome opportunity, I also squeezed a new outfit of the day, in which I styled my latest Rocksbox set.
The Jewelry
As I'm sure many of you are aware (and if you're not, you're about to be!), I've recently had the opportunity to work with and am now sponsored by the awesome company Rocksbox! If you want to learn more about this company, click here. However, in this post, I would like to focus on my most recent and gorgeous set!
First, I would like to talk about these beautiful brown mother of pearl earrings by the fabulous designer Kendra Scott. These where one of the first items I added to my wish-list back in October and I was absolutely thrilled to receive them in this set! As I anticipated, these beauties are absolutely dazzling and definitely pack a wow factor, needless to say these will not be going back when I send back my box!
Next up is the gorgeous Perry Street necklace. If it's sparkle you want, this necklace is the way to go! This was another one of my "granted wishes" from Rocksbox and I do absolutely adore it! The only reason why I'm on the fence about keeping this piece is while it is pretty, it's a bit distinctive so I would probably only wear it once a week.
Lastly, this pretty House of Harlow 1960 bangle. This was my least worn out of my set, and not because I didn't love it. As I stated in my review to Rocksbox this bracelet was one of my favorite pieces however, my wrists are a big to small and the bangle kept slipping off! And though I know I could bend it to fit, with how much it needed bent I was afraid with prolonged wear the bangle might break.
The Outfit
For this spring ready outfit, I decided to pair my Fascino criss-cross cami with some black shorts and Ann Klein heels. The reason why I absolutely love this top for a spring as well as summer piece is because of it's fun and flowy nature. This look makes for a simple and sophisticated look for spring.
